We are aware that some users have faced issues with Google Maps, where the ‘Continue button’ becomes unresponsive. This is due to a recent update on Google Maps. We are in communication with them about a long-term solution.

A workaround for now is to uninstall the latest Google Maps update and disable auto-updates.

Within the Delm8 app, you have the option to modify your account details directly.

Navigate to ‘My Profile Details’ or ‘My Account’ to review and edit your registered email address, phone number, and name.

In the profile section, you can update your email address and name, but changing your mobile number requires contacting the Delm8 support team via email.

You have the freedom to cancel your subscription at any time with Delm8, as we operate on a rolling contract basis, avoiding lengthy commitments.

 

The cancellation process varies depending on your device:

 

For Android users, you can cancel directly through the Delm8 app or via Google Play if you are using the standard Delm8 app.

To cancel an iPhone subscription, follow these steps:

Go to settings on your iPhone.
Select your AppleID/email address.
Choose the subscription option and search for Delm8.

Occasionally, clearing your app’s cache can enhance its performance.

 

To clear the cache on an Android device, follow these steps:

Open the settings on your phone.
Navigate to ‘Apps’ within the settings.
Locate and tap on ‘Delm8 Route Planner’ and then select ‘Storage’.
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and choose ‘Clear cache’.

Incorrect password or mobile number usage is the primary reason for account access issues.

To ensure access, verify that you are using the correct mobile number linked to your Delm8 account.

If access problems persist, follow these steps to reset your password:

Delm8 Pro:

Choose the ‘Forgot Password’ option and adhere to the on-screen instructions.
Enter your registered mobile number when prompted to receive a one-time passcode.
Utilize the code to reset your password and regain access.

Standard Delm8:

Opt for the ‘Forgot Password’ option and follow the on-screen instructions.
Input your registered email address to receive a one-time passcode.
Use the code for password reset and continued access.

If issues persist, attempt restarting the app or reach out to the Delm8 support team for assistance.

If you have already processed a payment and encounter issues with the Delm8 application, kindly restart the app without making further payments.

For iPhone users, find and click on the ‘Restore Purchase’ button to re-establish the connection between your app and Apple account.

If you have an Android device and Delm8 is not in your subscriptions list in the Play Store, please contact us.

Below are the steps to switch on an Apple device:

 

In order to switch from standard Delm8 to Delm8 Pro, you have to cancel your current subscription with Delm8 in order to avoid being double charged. Below are the steps to do this:

 

1-    Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

2-    Tap your name at the top of the screen.

3-    Tap ‘Subscriptions’.

4-    Select ‘Delm8’.

5-    Tap ‘Cancel Subscription’.

 

Finalising the switch is just as easy as the cancellation process. Download Delm8 Pro from the App Store, once it’s downloaded you can choose a subscription plan in the app. Please follow the below steps:

 

1-           Tap the Menu option (3 green lines) in the top left-hand corner.

2-           Tap ‘Pricing Plans’.

3-           Select Plan.

 

Below are the steps to switch on an Android device:

 

Cancel your standard Delm8 subscription to avoid being double charged, you can do this in the app in the ‘My Account’ section in the menu.

Users can update their mobile numbers, but unfortunately, you will not be able to do this within standard Delm8 or Delm8 Pro. To update your mobile number, please email us at info@delm8.co.uk or call us on 020 3375 3171.

If you come across an address that is not listed, please utilise the ‘Report Missing Address’ form in the menu of the app, and we will take care of it promptly.

Before proceeding, please be aware that this section does not cover subscription cancellations. For subscription cancellation instructions, refer to the relevant sections in this FAQ.

The Delm8 app prioritizes your privacy, ensuring compliance with UK and European data protection laws through a stringent data protection system.

During user registration, we collect your name, email address, and mobile phone number. This information is securely stored on UK-based servers solely for facilitating your access to the Delm8 app.

To request the deletion of this data, click on the provided link and complete the necessary form. Your request will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy.

Please note that even after submitting this request, you must separately cancel any active subscriptions you may have.

If your app is slow to respond to taps, it may be necessary to clear the cache data.

 

The steps to clear cache data may vary depending on your phone’s manufacturer and model. However, here are the general steps to clear app data from your Android phone:

 

Go to the settings on your phone.
> In the settings screen, locate and select “Apps.”
> Find and tap on “Delm8.”
> Select “Storage.”
> Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and choose “Clear cache.”

Please be aware that you will need to log in again after completing this step, so it’s advisable to make a note of your registered mobile number.
