DELMATE Limited (“we“, “us“, or “Delm8“) is committed to protecting your privacy and personal data and this Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when using the Delm8 app.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and changes posted within the app and on our website. Please check periodically to stay informed. This Privacy policy is up to date as of 7th August 2025.

    The data controller is DELMATE Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under companies house number 12246809, whose registered office is Avionic House Newhaven Road, Kingsway Business Park, Gloucester, England, GL2 2SN.

  1. The information we collect from you

We will directly ask you to voluntarily provide us with the following information about you and your device, this information will strictly be used for the purposes of operating Delm8 app. Failure to provide the information requested below may result in Delm8 app not being able to provide the intended service(s).

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Mobile phone number

We also collect certain device-specific data with your permission:

  • Geo-location data while using the app (for location-based services)
  • Push notification preferences

You may update your device permissions at any time in your device settings.

  1. Children under 17 years

Delm8 app is not targeted at children under 17 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are under 17 years, please do not provide us with your information.

  1. How and Why We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to operate and deliver the Delm8 app’s services. This includes creating your account, providing access to address and location-based features, and sending service-related push notifications. We process your data based on your consent (such as for notifications and location access), when it is necessary to fulfill our contract with you (such as providing core app functions), and when required to comply with legal obligations. In some cases, we may also process your data to prevent fraud, which we do based on our legitimate business interests.

  1. Your Rights Under UK GDPR

Under UK’s GDPR you have the right to access a copy of your personal data, request for a rectification of data held about you, request for erasure (subject to exceptions), right to restrict or limit how we use your personal data, object to your data being processed and right to data portability.

If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to speak to the Information Commissioner’s Office directly and raise it with them.

  1. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We will only process your information to deliver advertised services and, only share your information with authorities to comply with applicable laws or for the prevention of fraud or as evidence of litigation.

We may also share your data with third party service providers such as payment processors under strict data protection terms. This is necessary to allow Delm8 to fulfill its contractual obligation to you.

In case our business acquires another business or is acquired by, or partners with other entities, we may share your information with the parties concerned in connection with or during such transactions.

  1. International Data Transfers

We currently store your data on UK-based servers. If we transfer data outside the UK or EEA in the future, we will ensure appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place to protect your data in accordance with UK GDPR.

  1. Google Maps API

The Delm8 app uses Google Maps APIs to provide location-based services. We do not share your personal information directly with Google, but they may collect certain device and location information. Use of Google Maps is governed by their terms and privacy policy.

  1. Cookies and Tracking

Delm8 does not use cookies or any other tracking technologies.

  1. Push Notifications

We may send you push notifications for service updates or important notices. You will be asked for your explicit consent when you first install the app. Please note that you can withdraw consent at any time by changing your notification settings in your device.

  1. Data Retention and Deletion

You have a right to request for your data to be deleted from Delm8 app. To request for your data to be deleted please fill the relevant form found in the FAQ section of Delm8.com or directly from Delm8 app. Upon receipt of your request, we will delete your name from our database within 4 weeks, but we will have to keep your email address and mobile phone number for a further 12 months for fraud prevention.

  1. Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures (such as encryption, secure servers, and access controls) to protect your personal data from loss, misuse, or unauthorised access.

  1. iOS Subscriptions (Apple Devices)

Payment is charged to your iTunes Account. 

Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before current period ends.
